Bodhisattva Shave Soap

In Buddhism, a bodhisattva is an enlightened being. Traditionally, this is anyone who, motivated by great compassion, has generated bodhicitta, which is a spontaneous wish to attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient being.

This scent pays tribute to Samantha’s grandmother. She was a devout Buddhist who contributed much to the Buddhist community during her lifetime. This scent is reminiscent to her home and many Buddhist temples we have visited. A calming blend of Oriental woods, incense, and florals including geranium, honeysuckle,ylang-ylang. This is sure to bring a calm to your daily shave.

Additionally, every purchase of this soap, a donation of 15% will be made to the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA).

BLIA is an organization of monastic and lay Buddhists in which Humanistic Buddhism is practiced in everyday life. It is essentially an embodiment of cultivation that entails the participation in Dharma services and activities that are beneficial to society at large. In addition, BLIA maintains friendly ties with devotees of other sects and religions. They provide aid to foreign countries while promoting social kindness and mindfulness.

BLIA was granted the NGO association status by The Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) and Department of Public Information (DPI) under UN.
